ABOUT ME
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I took my first acting class at the Pittsburgh playhouse at the age of fifteen. I grew up in Daytona Beach Florida, where I took dance classes throughout those years before moving back to Pittsburgh for Junior and Senior high school, where I enjoyed performing as a dancer/singer in the school's dance/drill team and musicals. I also competed in group dance competitions at various dance conventions. After graduating high school in Pittsburgh I returned to Florida, where I started taking professional acting classes. I spent a number of years in Orlando, FL working as a professional performer in various local theme parks and attractions. I held duties as a dance captain for Universal Studios animated department while working on my BA at the University of Central Florida, where I graduated from with a Theatre degree and a minor in creative writing (focus on Screenwriting) . I lived in NYC for a few years and studied improv, scene study, cabaret and sight singing at HB Studios. I performed at Jekyl and Hyde Club in NYC and started working in student films, low budget indie projects and worked as a stand-in on major movie sets before moving to Los Angeles in 2008. Since 2008 I've been performing in a live comedic/adventure pirate troupe at various state fairs and other events. In 2013 I graduated from iO West's long form improv program, and have recently shifted focus to writing and collaborating with other actor/writers on creating and producing my own shorts and features. While this industry is challenging for anyone of any age or gender, I enjoy the challenge of learning and growing in as many areas as I can, and am always looking for new projects to be a part of, whether someone else's or my own.
